2024 Australian Formula Ford 1600 Nationals

Two FF1600 cars battle at Morgan Park Raceway

Australian Formula Ford 1600 Nationals. Queensland's Morgan Park Raceway. 8-10 November 2024. #AFF1600NATS The winner takes it ALL

The Formula Ford Association is excited to announce the 2024 Australian Formula Ford 1600 Nationals will be held at Morgan Park, Queensland on 8-10 November.

The winner-takes-all single-event format travels north following successful 2023 Phillip Island and 2022 Winton events (click the links to watch the thrilling title races!)

Three heat races will award points to set the grid for a 15-lap Feature Race that decides the title.

Open to all Formula Ford 1600 cars (Kent powered), including Historic Group F in their native specification (Avon tyres). The grid will be all Formula Ford's and not shared with any other category. Local Duratec Formula Fords will be participating in the Heat Races, but not the FF1600 Feature Race.

The highest placed Historic Group F competitor will win a prize.

The event is being run in conjunction with Queensland Round 5, with only the three Heat races counting towards FFA Qld Club Pointscores & Motorsport Australia State Championships. The Feature Race will be purely for the FF1600 Nationals title. Interstate interest is already strong from NSW and VIC.

Further information and a Registration of Interest will be available in the coming weeks. Book accommodation now to avoid disappointment!
