2022 QLD Formula Ford Round 2 entries now open
Entries for Round 2 of the 2022 QLD Formula Ford Championship are open. The event will be held at Morgan Park Raceway on May 27-29. This will be the last event at Morgan Park before our National Series joins the State Championship later in August. We thought this might be of interest for some of our National competitors to get some laps under their belts prior to the National Round. Format: Racing will be on the full extended Circuit K (3.0km). Expect 4 races of 10 laps. We will likely be in a combined Open-Wheeler grid - including F3, Formula Ford and Sportscars, so rolling starts have been confirmed. All classes of Formula Ford are eligible to compete. Entries are open on the Motorsport Australia Online Event Entry system and will close on the 20th of May. Friday practice: Usually 8.30am - 4.30pm, with four 15 minute sessions through the day. Timing - MyLaps transponder required: A MyLaps X2 transponder is required and will be supplied at no charge (if you do not own one). A $100 cash deposit will be required for the transponder; this will be refunded upon return of the transponder at the end of the meeting. A $25 entry discount is available for all who own a transponder, and advise during online entry. Tyres: Our category tyre supplier WILL NOT be at the event to supply and fit tyres.
