2020 Australian Formula Ford E-Challenge - Round 4 from Silverstone
This Sunday, round 4 of the 2020 Australian Formula Ford E-Challenge takes us to the birthplace of Formula Ford, the United Kingdom. Our e-racers will be competing from Silverstone, using the current Grand Prix Circuit layout. Every year Silverstone hosts one of the most prestigious Formula Ford events in the world, the Walter Hayes Trophy. Formula Ford originated in the United Kingdom, with the first-ever race held at Brands Hatch in 1967. The category was later introduced into Australia, where it was officially launched with a stand-alone event in 1969. Formula Ford has since established itself as one of Australia's key entry-level categories, kick-starting a professional career in motorsport for many Australian legends such as Larry Perkins, Craig Lowndes and Mark Webber, just to name a few. Round 4 of the 2020 Australian Formula Ford E-Challenge will commence tomorrow, Sunday 21st June, at 4pm AEST. You can follow the iRacing action live from our Facebook and YouTube profiles and from the Lukess Esports channels.
