2021 NSW Formula Ford Championship - Sydney round cancelled

We have just received communication that round 3 of the 2021 NSW Formula Ford Championship scheduled to be held at Sydney Motorsport Park on 31st July - 1st August has been cancelled. We won't be able to replace this round with another date, so the 2021 Championship will be shortened to 4 rounds only. Here is the advice from the Race Secretary at Sydney Motorsport Park:

"Given the current information and recommendations from the NSW Govt, ARDC feel that the only socially responsible thing to do, is to CANCEL the upcoming Motorsport Australia NSW MRC R5. ARDC always has, and will continue to, hold the health and wellbeing of ALL of their customers, their Officials and their staff in the highest regard. In the current climate, with the current advice that the Lockdown has been extended until Midnight FRIDAY 30TH JULY, ARDC feel it is the only reasonable action that can be taken. We do apologise that yet again we will be cancelling an event, but know you will appreciate it is the best result at this stage for all. Some FAQ’s that may assist you:

FULL REFUNDS will be given to all Competitors (you do not have to do ANYTHING to make this happen)
Refunds will be processed in chronological order, and asap within the next 2 weeks
There is NOT another date that will replace this event
NO CREDITS will be given for further events
IF our Finance Dept require further information to facilitate a refund, you will be contacted asap. Otherwise it will be credited to your Credit Card asap"

Round 2: 22-23 May at Wakefield Park Raceway Round 3: 31 July - 1 August at Sydney Motorsport Park - Cancelled Round 4: 25-26 September at Wakefield Park Raceway Round 5: 6-7 November at Sydney Motorsport Park
