Over 30 Formula Ford's expected at Sandown next weekend!

Next weekend our 2022 Australian Formula Ford Series will kick off at Sandown Raceway, VIC. Our National competitors will be joining the Victorian Formula Ford field for the first round of the Victorian State Circuit Racing Championships.

Our field is looking really strong, with 37 entries as of today (20/2/22). Entries did close on the 17th of February, but it wouldn’t be the first time that we see some last minute entries added to the Formula Ford grid at Sandown!

The final entry list and schedule will be available in the upcoming days, in the meantime, we have some useful information to share with you all.

Spectators are finally allowed back in the paddock and in the grandstand! You can purchase spectator tickets for the event at this link. The Red Hill grass area will also be open on Sunday only. Please read the conditions of entry very carefully prior to purchasing your ticket.

We would also like to confirm that our collaboration with Castrol has been extended to the 2022 Australian Formula Ford Series. Castrol will be once again our official engine and gearbox oil provider for the entirety of this year’s National series. We are very excited to have re-confirmed all our sponsors for the 2022 Australian Formula Ford Series.

We invite all our National competitors to read our 2022 AFFS Sporting Regs (download here) prior to the event. Registrations can be made as a one-off payment at the beginning of the season or on a round-by-round basis, using our National Series Registration Form (download here).
