2022 FFA Victorian Championship round 5

The final round of the 2022 FFA Victorian Championship will be held at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit this weekend as part of the Motorsport Australia Victorian State Race Championships.

We are expecting some spectacular racing across both the Formula Ford and FF1600 fields, with a total of 22 cars entered for the event and both championships still wide open.

Matthew Hillyer is currently leading the Formula Ford (Duratec-powered) championship, 46 points clear of Jordyn Sinni. With 100 points available across the weekend, Tasmanian Matthew Holmes, who's currently sitting in third place, could still clinch the Victorian title.

The FF1600 championship is even closer, with Richard Davison leading the way by just two points ahead of our defending champion Brendan Jones. Phil Marrinon is currently third in the standings, with a chance of grasping the win if anything should happen to the top championship contenders. The FFA Administrator has locked in his first podium finish in the championship, showing that consistency always pays off in the long run!

All of our races from Phillip Island will be live streamed on the Vic State Race Series Facebook page and on the BlendLine TV YouTube channel thanks to our sponsor Speco VHT. Here's our schedule for the weekend:
