2022 AFFC - Provisional calendar

The Australian Formula Ford Championship management team are currently working with a range of promoters to confirm our 2022 calendar. In the meantime, we have a snapshot of what the calendar should look like, with the final couple of rounds to be confirmed.

The 2022 Australian Formula Ford Championship will comprise of seven rounds across four states, starting in February and ending in October. In 2022 we will also see the return of the Formula Ford 1600 Championship alongside the main Duratec class. Our Kent-powered competitors have had a couple of years break due to Covid; we are very happy to welcome them back to the National competition now that state borders look more stable across the country.

Round 1 – February 26-27 at Sandown Raceway (Vic State Championship)

Round 2 – March 19-20 (TBC) *

Round 3 – May 21-22 (TBC)

Round 4 – June 4-5 at The Bend Motorsport Park (SA State Championship)

Round 5 – August 6-7 at Sydney Motorsport Park (NSW State Championship)

Round 6 – August 27-28 at Morgan Park Raceway (QLD State Championship) *

Round 7 – October 29-30 at Sydney Motorsport Park (NSW State Championship) *

*Denotes rounds of the 2022 Australian Formula Ford 1600 Championship.

Registrations and Sporting regulations will be available in early January.
