2020 Australian Formula Ford E-Challenge - Round 3 at Monza Eni Circuit

This weekend the 2020 Australian Formula Ford E-Challenge will return for round 3 of the series from Monza Eni Circuit, in Italy. Our e-racers will compete at the Temple of Speed, a historic race track where many Australian Formula Ford champions have raced at in real life. We are expecting a 30+ car grid, with our e-racers participating from both Australia and overseas. As restrictions ease across the country, we are receiving an increasing amount of enquiries regarding the re-start of racing activities across all states. All of our state representatives are working closely with event organisers to get all of our competitors on track as soon as possible, while keeping safety in mind. We will be in touch with our members as soon as we have more information regarding the re-start of racing activities across all states. Given the current climate, we still don't have a firm starting date for the 2020 Australian Formula Ford Championship. Our National Championship management are in touch with both state representatives, team managers and event organisers to get our National Championship started as soon as possible. Travel restrictions between states continue to play a big role in the planning of our National Championship, given our competitor base regularly cross state borders to compete. The safety of our competitors and team members is a priority for us and we will endeavor to have Formula Fords back on track as soon as it's safe to do so. In the meantime, our competitors can participate in a Formula Ford only private practice day organised at Winton Motor Raceway on Saturday 20th June. If you would like to register for this test day, please head to the Winton Motor Raceway website. Bookings for this day MUST be made online only. Other track days are also available at Phillip Island, with private practice days at this circuit being organised by On Track Events. Winton Motor Raceway have also re-opened their normal Test & Tune days. Just head to their websites to see the available dates and book your next day at the track! More information about the 2020 Australian Formula Ford Championship will be made available in the coming weeks. In the meantime, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact the FFA Administrator on 0422 840 300 or the 2020 AFFC Category Manager on 0413 699 299.
