2016 Australian Formula Ford Series Registrations Now Open
The Formula Ford Association is proud to launch the 2016 Australian Formula Ford Series with the calling for drivers to register to participate. 2015 was a year of building on the success of our inaugural season for Formula Ford national level racing, which resulted in substantially reduced costs of competing as well as some of the best racing seen in Australia. This year we see a new collaboration with Yokohama tyres, and continued support from Mazda Road to Indy, Ferodo Racing and Castrol Oils. The 2016 series will consist of six rounds, 2 rounds to be held in conjunction with the prestigious Shannons Nationals programme, and 4 stand alone events. Both Formula Ford (Fiesta) and Formula Ford 1600 (Kent) cars are eligible to compete. Formula Ford 1600 cars manufactured in 1990 onwards are able to compete in this Series. Register to participate by 14th March 2016 All competitors in the Australian Formula Ford Series must register to compete. This registration form does not represent an obligation to compete in all of the events but a formality required to streamline the entry process throughout the year. Whether you compete in one or all of the national series rounds, you will be required to pay a $110 series registration processing fee to assist in covering part of the series administration costs.
