Cameron Hill wins Race 2 after another tight battle with Luis Leeds

Leeds once again got the jump on Hill at the start, and led the race after Turn 1. But Hill quickly hit back, passing Leeds on the inside of turn 4 early in the race and maintainng the position to the finish. Hill, Leeds and William Brown were locked in a tight battle for the last few laps. Brown finished third putting plenty of pressure on Leeds and Hill during the final lap. Jake Spencer proved very speedy and continued to climb through the field. He ended up in fourth place after starting seventh. Christian Morina drove a steady race to finish fifth, after being passed by Spencer in the closing laps. Thomas Maxwell, Morina’s Sonic Racing team-mate, made a comeback and finished sixth after a DNF in Race 1. Andrew Kahl dropped back though the pack finishing eighth after finishing yesterday’s race in fourth. Cameron Walters took a win over James Corbett in the Kent class with Robert Power and Jimmy Bailey rounding out the rest of the Kent field.
