Cameron Hill takes third pole in a row at Queensland Raceway

Cameron Hill has scored a hat trick of pole positions, finishing fastest in qualifying for Round 5 of the Australian Formula Ford Series.

The self-run Mygale SJ10a driver went quickest with a time of 1m13.8s. The session ended with two minutes to go after a red flag caused by both Jake Spencer and Ben Reichstien in separate incidents. The premature finish cemented Hill’s early qualifying efforts. Luis Leeds was second fastest with a time of 1m13.9s, followed by William Brown and Andrew Kahl. Spencer will start fourth in Race 1 despite contributing to the red flag. Christian Morina qualified further down the field in eighth, behind his teammate Thomas Maxwell. James Corbett finished fastest in the Kent class, followed by Cameron Walters.
