FFA responds to CAMS Motorsport Review

In light of today’s statement by CAMS, we acknowledge that we have once again been subject to a purely political manoeuvre, and will continue to defend and conduct the running of our successful National Series of Formula Ford for both Kent and Duratec engine cars. The Formula Ford Association wants to reinforce that we will continue in 2016 as a National series, touring various tracks across Australia, with the best drivers fighting for a National series pointscore. FFA Statement regarding the future of Formula Ford in Australia

Dear Formula Ford Association Members, Competitors, Fans and Supporters. Due to recent comments made by a Senior member of the CAMS management group regarding the future of Formula Ford at a National level, the Formula Ford Association would like to once again clarify our position within the Australian open wheel market. The Formula Ford Association would like to be clear in stating that we will have a National based Formula Ford series in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and through to at least 2020.
