Final 2011 National Championship Calendar released

The calendar for the 2011 Australian Formula Ford Championship has been released. To be conducted over eight rounds, with a welcome return to NSW as round 3, after a two year absence.

 

The dates are:

 

Rnd 1 March 17-20, Clipsal 500
Rnd 2 May 20-22, Winton
Rnd 3 July 15-17, Eastern Creek

Rnd 4 August 19-21, QLD Raceway
Rnd 5 September 9-11 Sandown

Rnd 6 September 16-18, Phillip Island
Rnd 7 October 21-23, Gold Coast
Rnd 8 November 11-13, Symmons Plains
 

The 2011 series is set to be a bonanza year, with competitors travelling to Adelaide for the Clipsal 500, and Queensland for the Gold Coast 600, as well as iconic tracks such as Phillip Island.

 

Round 3 and 5 are part of the Shannons Nationals Series.
