PDF Print

Kent powered Formula Fords have been offered the opportunity to be part of the 2011 Bathurst Motor Festival in April 2011.

Having last raced at Bathurst in 2004, this is a tremedous opportunity for Formula Ford 1600 competitors to race at Bathurst during Easter 2011.

The premilimary programming sees a 20 minute practice session, 20 minute qualifying session, and 3 x 20 minute races. 2 races are to be held on the Saturday and the final on Sunday.

Fiesta powered Formula Fords are not permitted to compete. As drivers must be holders of a full National Competition Licence, Provisional Licence holders will be unable to compete either.

Whilst details are still to be finalised, Expressions of Interest are being called for to ensure a place on the grid for Formula Ford 1600 drivers.

A deposit of $500 is required to be paid with the registration form, which will be non-refundable (unless your entry is ultimately rejected due to oversubscriptrion of grid). If the number of applicants exceed the grid capacity, preference will be firstly given to FFA members. A reserve list will be collated if oversubscribed.

It is intended that acceptions from each State will mirror the FFA membership base of each State.

To register your interest download the registration form  and return it to the FFA on or before 15 December 2010.
